Vintage Follett. Not very innovative, but thoroughly enjoyable. Kingsbridge cathedral does not play much of a role in this volume, unfortunately. Follett is becoming more sensitive to the role of religion in human lives, however.

Good historical novel. But not what you expect from a Kingsbridge novel by Ken Follet. Fun to listen to, but it lacks the exciting plot twist that makes the other books in the series so great.
