This is a sad but very inspiring read. My heart goes out to all these people that are in these situations. My upmost admiration to those who stood up for themselves and for others. I highly recommend this book!

Sad that she was abused and sad that the author did not fight harder, at least once she was adult, to rescue the others since she knew the victims and the abusers names. Finally she did no more than the police or the social services. Disappointing. Abuse will not stop if nobody is willing to fight for those who cannot defend themselves. And also Disappointing that she didn't stay in touch with the people who rescued her and did so much for her.
